It can be tempting to pick at a pus-filled zit and squeeze it until the pus burst out - but the consequences are not good. You can get the bacteria on your hands and under your nails. When you touch another area of your face, you are spreading the bacteria and the pimples! And of course, you don't want to scar your face by repeatedly picking at it.
It's easy to say just stop squeezing. Like any compulsion, the urge can feel irresistible. There have been certain trigger times when you felt the urge to pop a pimple more strongly. This could have been during times of boredom or stress.
